If by “wide variety of film” you mean 70% of American Mainstream films released in the last 10 years, a lot of crap, and a few classics that everybody has seen thrown in for good measure, yes you’ve certainly made your point.

*rolleyes* You’re such a douche. The point was simply to get it through your thick head that I like a wide variety of film and I’m not just a whore like yourself that apparently can’t enjoy anything that goes against the critical consensus.

We can’t be friends then? Shame. I was really looking forward to a pyjama party with you where we could have watched all the American Pie films back to back followed by Top Gun and A Walk To Remember. We would have talked all night about Harry Potter and raved about Mandy Moore’s film career. It would have been such fun. What a real shame.

Pulp Fiction is a good film with the most annoying fanboys ever.

Part of me does admire him though for putting Wedding Crashers and Meet the Parents next to Some Like It Hot, and Secondhand Lions and this eternal classic, A Walk to Remember, above A Streetcar Named Desire. That’s brave. That’s postmodernist.
I shall certainly respect you even more from now on and listen more carefully to you wise opinion on what is overrated or not. I clearly misjudged you.

That was really unnecessary Scott (especially since there were a few stinkers in that list that didn’t help your point).

Right… so Harry Potter is the best film of the year, The Raven looks “awesome”, but Pulp Fiction is over-rated? You should watch more films. You know, even these strange ones with no wizard nor CGI, and with strange-sounding dialogues and words written at the bottom of the screen.

Vastly over-rated film…good, but not great.

I picked up the Blu-ray earlier this week and watched it last night. Watching it reminded me of why I love movies.

I’ll be getting this for sure. It’s one of my favorite films of all time, and certainly one of my favorite screenplays.
