UPDATE: Here’s the new US trailer.
One of the best scenes, after the cut.
Sasha Stone has been around the Oscar scene since 1999. Almost everything on this website is her fault.

I have to admit, in parts it does look a little stagey. But I also must say that Jodie Foster looks like she’s finally found a comedy (since Freaky Friday, anyway) that she can actually sink her teeth into.

This movie is so interesting. I enjoyed every single moment of this trailer.

Looks totally overly acted, with stage dialogue. Like … I don’t know … a stage play turned into a movie. Imagine that?

Three Things: We are in a recession. Is the public really interested in rich New Yorkers arguing about their kids for 90 minutes?
Also am I the only one who finds Kate Winslet’s American dialect grating? She’s used it in Revolutionary Road, Mildred Pierce–American dialects–like English dialects–are regional. Her American characters all sound like socialites.
I wish Meg Ryan hadn’t done that to her face. She could be doing work like this.

Yes, Waltz does look good in this — as does everbody.
It seems oddly reminiscent of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and that’s a good thing.
I suspect AMPAS voters will find the film appealing in many ways.

This film might just surprise the underwhelmed Oscarati and nab some serious acclaim for the actors. I would actually kind of love that

It should get a best adapted screenplay nod. It looks hilarious at times.

“Clockwork Orange”. I don´t know if it fits but I like it.
I thought it was cool that they didn´t advertise the actors as “Oscar winners” and “Oscar nominee” in the previous trailer. I mean we clearly see that these are great actors.

Oscar-winner Kate “The Great” Winslet looks like the standout to me, but there’s not a weak link in this cast.

There’s a new trailer out that is great. And all four actors look strong in it acting-wise.
