The same directors who made the wonderful coming of age drama Quinceanera, Richard Glatzer, Wash Westmoreland direct Julianne Moore as a professor struggling with Alzheimer’s. Set pics just popped up on JustJared showing Baldwin and Moore in a passionate embrace. IMDB has this listed for 2015 but it’s possible it could be a contender this year. The film is based on the book by Lisa Genova.

CONGRATS to Kristen Stewart for winning the # Cannes Critics Poll for Best Sup. Actress
CONGRATS to Kristen Stewart for winning the # Cannes Critics Poll for Best Sup.
@hawkeye…I hope you eat your words. Obviously you have only seen Twilight.. Check out some other of her films.. She is actually pretty good
Julianne Moore has been in the ‘she deserves an Oscar’ talk since Short Cuts
It’s hysterical to see “OscarWatch” and “Kristen Stewart” in the same title. Haven’t had a laugh that good in a while.
Footface fan don’t worry about Kristen. She was always a good actress.
I love me some Julianne Moore, i will watch her reading the phone book, if she chooses to do so. I am open about Kristen Stewart, but Alec Baldwin – meh! A little goes a long way; and I feel quite satiated by his work on the big and small screens. An Oscar for Julianne Moore – yes please.
It is so great to see Julianne Moore FINALLY doing so well again : roles in high-profile (and decent enough) studio films (Crazy Stupid Love, Carrie, Non-Stop) and WORTHY leads (Still Alice, Freeheld) along with cult-bound little indies (What Maisie knew, Don Jon, Cronenberg’s Maps to the Stars) AND the biggest exposure of her career (Mockingjay).
P.S. I think (hope) she will get a nomination this year for Still Alice, lose to another redhead (Amy Adams (Big Eyes) or Jessica Chastain (Miss Julie)) and then WIN next year (2015/2016 season) for Freeheld, the film based on the Oscar winning short documentary. If that film turns out to be just half as good and powerful as the documentary, it will garner Oscars for Julianne Moore and even Ellen Page. The story is an important one in the dallasbuyersclubnorthcountrysilkwoodnormarae kind of way.

This could be a surprise at the oscars in 2015. Julianne Moore could easily be one of the favorites for Best Female Performance.
It is still hard for me to wrap my head around the fact Julianne Moore didn’t win an Oscar for Far From Heaven The Hours, Magnolia or Boogie Nights.
It’s remarkable to go to see this site and reading the views of all friends on the topic of this article,
while I am also zealous of getting familiarity.
Julianne Moore looks great. Possibly the best actress contender for 2015.
http://spoilermovies.com.br/cannes-2014/ what a competition, ah?!
You had me at Julianne Moore, but then you lost me at Alec Baldwin. I have found Baldwin’s behavior as annoying as his one-time enemy Shia LaBeouf. I am neutral on Kristen Stewart. I loved Quinceanera. A sweet little movie. This could be pretty great. I do not ascribe to the “over-due” mentality, but Moore is certainly someone who has given many great performances. This could finally be the one that wins her the big prize. We know how Oscar loves characters suffering from diseases.
I’ve still yet to be sold on the idea that Steward can act, but Moore and Baldwin together sounds awesome! They were a great pairing on 30 Rock, despite Moore’s weird take, so I look forward to seeing them together again!
