“I read once that when a train hits, it can rip the clothes off of you.”

Universal Studios has released a brand new poster and trailer for The Girl on The Train. Based on the best-selling book by Paula Hawkins, the movie adaptation stars Emily Blunt as Rachel Watson, who takes the same train journey into the city each day. She spies a couple as she commutes to work and creates a fantasy life around their world, they are the perfect, happily married couple. One morning, Rachel turns on the news to find that Megan Hipwell, the woman who she sees on her morning commute, has gone missing.

Rachel becomes involved in the police investigation and The Girl On The Train descends into a chilling thriller.

Emily Blunt, Justin Theroux, Allison Janney, Luke Evans and Rebecca Ferguson all star in the film due out October 7. Watch the trailer below and check out the new poster. Tate Taylor directs.
