Here we go, folks. By Tuesday, the Oscar year as we know it will have come to a close. All of our talk and fretting and worrying and imagining will be in the can and done for the year. Probably things will go as planned. But there is always the tiny chance that they won’t. Here is your opportunity to predict the far fetched impossible calls. Then you can say “I called it!” without having to wreck your predictions with a long shot.
The rules are the rules – up to three only please and make them long shots. Isabelle Huppert for Best Actress is not a long shot. Neither is Emily Blunt, come to that. Something along the lines of Rebecca Hall getting in for Christine would count.
Here are mine (Marshall, Ryan and Jazz should feel free to add theirs):
- OJ Made in America for Picture and/or Director and/or Editing
- Lion leads with the most nominations
- Kevin Costner gets in for Hidden Figures, along with Taraji P. Henson
