Dr Rob has prepared the 2nd phase ballot for the Awards Daily Oscar project.
In the early years of our Oscar ballot simulation, after we ran the results of nominations ballot and announced preferences of our own readers, we would then realign the demonstration of the tabulation process for Phase 2 to reflect the nominees the Academy gave us.
But we’ve listened to the protests of readers who thought it would be more interesting — and more in tune with the AD community — if we retained the nominees you chose 2 weeks ago. We call this new approach the Awards Daily Daily Awards. After all, we already have Sasha’s Predict the Oscars contest (coming soon), so there’s no reason to replicate that.
The new ballot is streamlined and far easier for voters to fill out — because you don’t need to manually type the names of your choices in the acting categories.
