USA’s Emmy®-winning series Mr. Robot releases a trailer for its upcoming Season 3. After a near-total shunning by the Television Academy, can it rebound?
The case for USA’s Mr. Robot is a curious one. Everyone loved Season 1 thanks to a nifty twist and a fantastic, career-making, and Emmy-winning central performance by Rami Malek. And then Season 2 happened. While it has its support and there’s no denying the incredible filmmaking by Sam Esmail, Season 2 failed to attract any heat at the 2017 Emmys. Even its Emmy-winning star failed to receive a follow-up nomination when he clearly deserved it. I mean, Kevin Spacey, right?
