The Emmy nominations were announced today with Samira Wiley and Ryan Eggold announcing the nominations. As expected The Handmaid’s Tale landed nominations for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actress for Elisabeth Moss.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. is a new contender in the comedy series.
The Emmy Awards will be handed out on September 17 on NBC.
