It feels like a strange thing to say, but Olivia Colman couldn’t be any hotter right now. I really love this fantastic actress, and I couldn’t be more excited about her upcoming work in Netflix’s The Crown and the Oscar-contender The Favourite. But Colman is also featured in Masterpiece and the BBC’s production of Victor Hugo’s Les Miserables. Dropping in 2019, this limited series follows the novel, not the stage musical. Colman will play Madame Thénardier, the ruthless opportunist.
The production also stars Dominic West as Jean Valjean, David Oyelowo as Javert, and Lily Collins as Fantine.
