Cuaron’s Roma Gets Stunning Exhibition

Netflix took over the Four Seasons Pavillion in Beverly Hills this weekend for a stunning look at Alfonso Cuaron’s Roma. Costumes and from the film were on display at the exhibit. Visitors to the exhibit also got to see the production design of the film up close including the iconic tiled floor from the film, the sofa, and paintings.

Earlier, actress Yalitza Aparicio mentioned to take a closer look at the paintings as the photo above the sofa was Cuaron’s mother, and the young boy in another painting was Cuaron as a young boy.

The masterpiece from the Oscar-winning director was shot on the Alexa 65 in color and the colors were carefully chosen as not to collide with the black and white world that Cuaron would create for the film.
