Netflix will roll out Mindhunter Season 2 on August 16. The series dives into the era of the late 60s and 70s when, for whatever inexplicable reason, serial killers bloomed like seasonal poppies. When we left Mindhunter Season One, Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) had mostly lost whatever it was that held him together – as he got as close as anyone can get to evil. The great Holt McCallany is back as Tench, as is the also great Cameron Britton as Ed Kemper. It looks like David Fincher is directing two episodes of this, with additional episodes by Carl Franklin and Andrew Dominik. We also know Charles Manson is coming. Can’t wait.
