Scott Cooper Dives into Horror with ‘Antlers’

Scott Cooper is known for films about anti-heroes, and he seems to have found his comfort zone as a director by exploring stories of people who live and dwell on the margins. With Antlers, co-produced by horror master Guillermo del Toro, Cooper is delving into the world of horror – the trailer is quite the tease about what to expect.

Cooper often writes his own scripts, but here, he’s co-written the screenplay, along with C. Henry Chaisson and Nick Antosca, adapted from the short story “The Quiet Boy” by Nick Antosca. Keri Russell, Amy Madigan, Jesse Plemons, and Graham Greene also star.
