Netflix released four gorgeous new photos from its upcoming film Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. Starring Viola Davis and the late Chadwick Boseman, the film translates August Wilson’s play about a recording session from the titular Mother of the Blues. Davis will not doubt astound, but the buzz is deafening on what will be Boseman’s last performance.

Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom is directed by George C. Wolfe and will debut on Netflix December 18.
