Hulu’s Pam and Tommy limited series dips back into the mid-1990s and explores the infamous internet sensation of the first major sex tape commonly sold on the internet. Directed by Craig Gillespie (I, Tonya), the series takes a broad approach to what appears to be a relatively simple storyline. Lily James and Sebastian Stan play the titular characters with James crafting a remarkably sensitive portrait of the Baywatch star. But does the material warrant an 8-episode limited series?
