It is hard to get excited about these now because of what they’ve done to the acting categories — with Best Lead and Best Supporting. I hate it beyond any measure. But here you go. These awards have a few bright spots but overall bug as hard as the Gothams do. Sorry, that’s just the truth. As with the Gothams, the point here is inclusivity and intersectionality and has very little to do with “best.”
