I had no idea these were even happening. But I casually glanced at the awards calendar on AwardsWatch and found that they indeed did announce. I did not see it on Twitter and they didn’t send me a release. Maybe it’s the algorithm.
Their choice of Ralph Fiennes for Conclave is worthy of note. He gave the best performance by far but it seems as though he can’t seem to rise on his talent and his performance alone. The Oscars are a dog and pony show, everyone knows that. Who can razzle and dazzle ’em will take home the prize. So hats off to the OFCS. Their choices are sublime.
