Now we’re talking. This looks like a real movie. It doesn’t seem like it’s too much to ask for great writing and acting. With an October release date, it hits the sweet spot for the Oscars. That we have a flawed female lead rather than a living virtue signal has caught my interest. Chris Rock doesn’t shy away from hard truths and just from this trailer alone we can see he’s about to transform his insightful humor into a great screenplay.
I can’t wait.
