After months of build up and NBC’s The Wiz Live!, Fox finally unveils its elaborately produced Grease Live! musical event, starring Aaron Tveit and Julianne Hough in the iconic roles of Danny and Sandy. For our 61st Water Cooler Podcast, the Cooler gang takes a look at the musical event. As with anything, there are plusses (Carly Rae Jepsen, Vanessa Hudgens, those sets), and there are minuses. Tune it for the list of things we’d have done differently if we ruled television.
Also, we dive into the largely repetitive SAG award winners and touch briefly upon the Emmys with a look at Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and its potential.
