Will ‘Pee-wee’s Big’ Adventure Pay Off?

Pee-wee

Before we get into the trailer for Netflix’s Pee-wee’s Big Holiday, I want to briefly discuss how Paul Reubens (AKA Pee-wee’s real name) does NOT age. Look at that guy’s face! I was watching him when I was 8 years old, and he looked youthful then. He’s a staggering 63 years old!

It seems that Pee-wee has lived a rather solitary and quiet existence. He lives in a house much different from his famed Playhouse, so he begins questioning his choices when Joe Manganiello comes strolling into the diner where Pee-wee works. Scruffy hot Joe makes Pee-wee realize that he hasn’t really lived, and he sets off on an adventure to expand his horizons. Oh, and Manganiello proves that he should always mess around with beverages in public.

Joe

One of the best things about Pee-wee is his homegrown energy. You probably won’t find him playing with an iPad or fiddling with all types of technology, because his imagination and ingenuity have always been one the funnest aspects to watching him.

His voice might be a little deeper and his laugh a little less spry, but he seems down for whatever comes his way. It might be a hard sell for a lot of younger viewers, but he seems giddy to be back.
