Only recently has my three year-old daughter stopped randomly exclaiming “It’s a miracle!” When I first binge-watched (three times, I might add) the opening season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, I was desperately hoping for much more of the same. The brand new trailer for the second season of the quirky comedy offers just that. Jumping from faux pas here to self discovery there, our cheerful protagonist Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) continues to rebuild her long lost life in New York with the usual – also-socially-stranded – suspects, including Titus (Tituss Burgess), Jacqueline (Jane Krakowski), and Lillian (Carol Kane). Ellie Kemper looks like she is giving it her all once again, surrounded by a terrific cast, and I personally cannot wait to hang out with these misfits again.
The daughter will be delighted too.
You can stream season two of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt on Netflix once it resurfaces on April 15.
