This week, long time listener Kevin Dillon rejoins the Cooler Gang to cover a few film and television topics. On the film front, we regroup to talk about Once Upon a Time in Hollywood now that everyone has seen it. Then, on the TV front, we cover the Television Critics Association 2019 awards. Announced over the weekend, the 2019 TCA Awards bestowed three major awards on Amazon’s Fleabag. Is it at all possible that the Television Academy would follow suit?
Finally, in our main segment, we talk about two of our very favorite Emmy categories: Main Title Design and Original Main Title Theme Music. We analyze each nominee and predict which title and theme will take home the Emmy at the 2019 Creative Arts Emmy Awards in early September.
