Happyish. Showtime‘s half-hour comedy was originally to star the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, but the redone pilot with Steve Coogan is coming to series with an eye toward a 4/26 premiere. Kathryn Hahn and Bradley Whitford co-star in this “dark examination of the pursuit of happiness.” (THR)

Roadies. Colson Baker aka rapper Machine Gun Kelly has been added to the cast of the Showtime hour-long comedy pilot from Cameron Crowe about a rock tour as seen by the crew who make it happen. Crowe wrote and will direct the pilot in the first part of 2015. Other reported cast members include Luke Wilson, Christina HendricksImogen Poots (Need for Speed), Keisha Castle-Hughes (Whale Rider) and Rafe Spall (Prometheus)

51st State. What if the United States purchased Greenland and converted it into a co-ed prison colony? That’s what happens in this series being written by Dallas Buyers Club co-writer Craig Borten. (Deadline)

Adam Sandler. The Comedian’s production company Happy Madison has renewed its deal with Sony Pictures TV for three years which includes the eventual production of 8 shows including What Up Wahlbergs, “inspired by the Wahlberg brothers as kids growing up, with Danny Wahlberg producing.” (Deadline)
