Titanic Vs. Avatar Update – Avatar Now Just Behind TDK

If you are curious about the box office pattern between Avatar and Titanic, click after the jump.

Box office for Avatar is still pretty good. Not quite $50 million this weekend, but close. Titanic at this time made $30 million, played in less theaters and was up 4.5%. Avatar made around $41 million, played in more theaters but was down 17%. If it wins the Golden Globe that should give it a boost. And it will probably, easily, overtake The Dark Knight by next weekend.
