Last year Vanity Fair came under fire for its annual Hollywood issue because even though it featured two people of color on the tri-fold cover, David Oyelowo and Oscar Issac were both hidden away on the inside fold.
What a difference a year makes. At a time when diversity is on everyone’s lips, the brand new Hollywood issue of Vanity Fair is stunning. Viola Davis stands front and center alongside Cate Blanchett, Jane Fonda and Jennifer Lawrence. The inside tri-fold features nine other Hollywood leading ladies including; Oscar nominate Charlotte Rampling, Alicia Vikander, Saoirse Ronan and Brie Larson. Helen Mirren, Diane Keaton, Lupita Nyong’o and Gugu Mbatha-Raw also feature.
