I have unfortunately put Nate Parker’s Birth of a Nation out of the picture for the time being pending what might happen in the next few months. You can see how things are shaking down in terms of the people who usually decide these things.
Now, here is the embarrassing part. I just want to give props to Steve Pond for putting Spotlight at number one back in August. But as to the rest of the choices, you can have a good laugh at how off we were. That said, we’re probably just as off right now as we were last year at this time. Ahem. My eyes water with embarrassment looking at these.
