With the New York Film Festival under way, it’s safe to say we are in Awards Season. From now until the end of the year, we’ll be treated to awards contenders. This week sees the release of Nate Parker’s The Birth of a Nation, The Girl on The Train starring Emily Blunt based on the best-selling book of the same name, and Ava DuVernay’s 13th.
