There are hallways fights and Sigourney Weaver. Jessica Jones smashes glass. Iron Fist needs special powers to punch Luke Cage. Misty Night tackles the case, and Matt Murdock broods on a rooftop. The Defenders trailer has it all. If none of that means anything to you, then you likely don’t care. For the rest, sitting through all four series (two seasons of Daredevil and one each of Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist) culminates in this series. Looks like none of the usual issues with Netflix’s Marvel properties – starts off fast, slows in the middle, finishes strong – applies here. The trailer features nearly a dozen major roles and fight scenes.
