Finally. An Official ‘Apocalypse’ Trailer Courtesy of FX

UPDATED WITH FULL TRAILER

After the usual misdirecting teaser trailers, FX finally released actual footage of its upcoming American Horror Story: Apocalypse. By now you all know that Season 8 combines characters from Season 1 (Murder House) and Season 3 (Coven). It appears to focus on the aftermath of an atomic bomb and somehow revolves around Cody Fern’s Michael Langdon, the love child of the deceased Tate Langdon (Evan Peters) and Vivien Harmon (Connie Britton). He may or may not be the Antichrist. Probably is.

The rest of the cast is populated with other AHS all-stars including (*deep breath*) Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Adina Porter, Cheyenne Jackson, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Emma Roberts, Taissa Farmiga, Gabourey Sidibe, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy, and Dylan McDermott. Oh, and Jessica Lange. Dynasty‘s Joan Collins joins the cast in her first AHS outing.

What’s good about the teaser is that it doesn’t appear quite as bonkers as you’d might expect. Although, I’m sure there are lots of bonkers things going on outside of the 45 seconds we’ve seen. What do you think?

American Horror Story: Apocalypse premieres on FX on Wednesday, September 12.
Joey and I are still waiting for our screeners…
