On a day when prominent trailers came out for “Ad Astra,” “Top Gun: Maverick,” and “IT: Chapter 2,” dominating discussion is the first trailer for Tom Hooper’s adaptation of “Cats,” whose utilization of so-called “digital fur technology” is causing quite a stir online.
“Cats” features an all-star cast that includes Taylor Swift, Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, Jennifer Hudson, Idris Elba, James Corden, and Rebel Wilson. It is scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 20th.
