As it is tradition here at AwardsDaily, on the first day of Oscar voting we like to send our wishes out into the ether. Here is your chance to put it out there in the comments. What would be your most sincere Oscar wish?
I think I have made my own personal requests known, whether that matters at all (it doesn’t). Jennifer Hudson is someone the awards race disgracefully ignored. The Screen Actors guild did not. I hope that the Academy can recognize such extraordinary work. Other than that, a Spider-Man Best Picture nomination would be the coolest thing ever and would be a sign that Hollywood and the Oscars haven’t become, as Laurie Anderson would say, a perfect little world that doesn’t really need them.
