Writers Guild Names Annie Hall Funniest Screenplay of All Time.

The Writers Guild have named Annie Hall the funniest screenplay of all time. The 1977 Woody Allen and Marshall Brickman screenplay topped the list, Some Like It Hot came in second, and Groundhog Day rounded out the top three.

The Awards were announced at Hollywood’s Arclight Dome. Allen had the most credits, with seven films making the list: Bananas, Broadway Danny Rose, Love and Death, Manhattan, Sleeper, and Take the Money and Run.
