New Poster for Sully Starring Tom Hanks

We’re heading into Awards season, with the Telluride and Toronto Film Festivals coming up next month. Sully, the new biopic starring Tom Hanks has a new film poster. Hanks stars as Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, the airline pilot of US Airways Flight 1549 who lands his plane on the Hudson River and saving the lives of 155 passengers in January 2009.

Dubbed “Miracle on the Hudson” Sully’s reputation as a national hero turns into a fight after an investigation threatens to destroy his career, “Over 40 years in the air, but in the end I’m going to be judged by 208 seconds.” He says in the trailer.

Sully also stars Laura Linney, Aaron Eckhart and Anna Gunn and will be released on September 9.
