Yahoo Movies has a first look behind the scenes at Patriots Day. The title Getting It Right sums up the efforts of cast and crew as they explain how they worked to ensure everything shown in this film was accurate. Director Peter Berg, along with Mark Wahlberg, John Goodman, J.K. Simmons, and the real-life law enforcement officials portrayed in the film discuss how authenticity was crucial to Patriots Day, both in tribute to and with respect for those who lost lives or suffered life-changing injuries in the terrorist attack, and to ensure that the real sacrifice and heroism shown that day by everyone involved, both in and out of uniform, was properly honored.
Patriots Day is released next month in LA and NY, and nationwide on January 13.
