From Cinematical, comes this montage of visual effects milestones from the past 100 years (109 years, if my calculations are correct). It’s a reminder of a simpler era when pulling a top hat out of a charcoal sketch was so pants-shittingly awesome genies had to wear adult diapers. But seriously, some of these effects are still as astonishing as the day they first screened, particularly when that first glimpse of a 10-story tall brontosaurus made our hearts skip a beat.
