The new 3D site of Samsung Australia has included important health and safety information for buyers to read before they or their children use the 3D function available on 3D displays and Blu-ray players. Children, being more liable to 3D side effects, should be closely supervised. Pregnant women, the elderly, persons suffering from serious medical conditions, sleep deprivation or under the influence of alcohol are advised to avoid 3D altogether.

Children and teenagers may be more susceptible to health issues associated with viewing in 3D and should be closely supervised when viewing these images… If you experience any of the following symptoms, stop viewing 3D pictures immediately and consult a medical specialist:
- Altered vision
- Lightheadedness
- Dizziness
- Involuntary movements such as eye or muscle twitching
- Confusion
- Nausea
- Convulsions
- Cramps
- Disorientation
- Vulnerability to narrative clichés
- Loss of critical faculties (inability to nitpick)
