Annapurna Pictures has just released a new FYC trailer for their film Detroit that will have a limited re-release in theaters on December 1 in 10 cities and 25 screens including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Palm Springs, Maui and Aspen.
The new trailer ahead of the re-release is timely and powerful. Bigelow’s thriller highlights the 1967 events that occurred at the Algiers Motel during the Detroit riots. The trailer reminds us of the night unarmed African-American teenagers were shot and killed by law enforcement officers. Algee Smith, Jacob Latimore, Anthony Mackie, Jason Mitchell, Will Poulter and John Boyega all star.
