very nice poster there, and extra nice to see that Michelle Williams stars and Manola Dargis issuing praise for it.
How come I never hear of these movies until this site highlights them?
(Answering my own question) I guess that’s why I keep coming back.

Saw this movie last month. It’s good. Really small scale and some great sound for a “no budget” film.
Superb little film. Williams gives one of the best performances I’ve seen this year — I’d love to see some awards attention for it, though I fear it might get lost in the December rush.
I sure do hope Williams doesn’t get overlook at awards season because of the small film status in favor of celebrities baity performances around. If this is the best performance of the year as I read it is, it should get the same recognition as last year’s best performance (Cottillard’s).
Solid little film. I mirror the feelings about Williams performance, truly superb.

can’t wait. I’m really really looking forward to this.
Probably a steep climb to any kind of recognition, though… but you never know.
(likely if an indie performance gains momentum it will be Frozen River, not this…)
why so serious michelle? why so serious? (no pun intended). I know you are trying to pull off the whole “serious-actress” thing but she always looks sad and depressed. Why so melancholic all the time?

I adore this film. Michelle Williams is simply wonderful. I love the way Kelly Reichardt simply lets the film flow, not forcing any undue action or false plot points. She puts her trust in Williams as an actress and Williams delivers.
