Birth of a Nation, Moonlight Score with NAACP Nominations

The NAACP chose to honor Nate Parker as an artist, to acknowledge that his work deserves to be judged on its own merit regardless of what happened way back when in Parker’s college days.

I hope that in the future the NAACP expands its nominations for film to include script and directing and designing.
