The Cinema Audio Society handed out their awards last night, with Bohemian Rhapsody taking the top prize in Sound Mixing for a feature film. It beat A Star is Born, Black Panther, A Quiet Place and First Man. Isle of Dogs won in the Animated Film category and Free Solo was the winner in the Documentary category. It’s a good bet that Bohemian could rake in the awards for sound at the Oscars but remember, you have lots of folks voting for sound there – actors even.
