Anthony Nti’s Da Yie is shortlisted for Live Action Short this season, and it has a really good shot of making the final five. The story of two young children coming close to immediate danger when they happen to go off with a stranger is told with mystery but you never lose the sense that something bad might happen. You never questions the authenticity of Nti’s film.
