Ben Affleck’s Live By Night Enters Oscar Race With December Release Date

The date is set. Ben Affleck’s Live By Night will get a December 25 release date. Live By Night is based on the book of the same name by Dennis Lehane. Set in the 1920’s, Affleck stars alongside Zoe Saldana, Sienna Miller and Chris Messina, as Joe Coughlin, a Superintendent’s son who moves to Tampa, Florida and becomes a rum runner.

The film was originally slated for an October 2017 release and has been moved to a January 13, 2017 release. Live By Night will open in limited release on Christmas Day alongside Denzel Washington’s Fences, 20th Century Women, and Hidden Figures.
