For Your Consideration: Eye In The Sky Digital Booklet

Bleecker Street has launched its FYC campaign for Eye In The Sky. In this AwardsDaily exclusive, here is a look at the digital booklet:

Academy Award winner Helen Mirren graces the front of the booklet, and as you flick through you see quotes from the New York Daily News, The Guardian and the San Francisco Chronicle. There’s also a full column quote from Director Gavin Hood.

There are more quotes highlighted throughout the booklet as well as quotes from Producers Colin Firth and Ged Doherty. The imagery throughout the booklet are a reflection of Haris Zambarloukos’ stunning cinematography.

The penultimate pages highlight its FYC campaign, but it’s the last pages that say it all:

Turn to the last page and there’s a powerful image of Rickman and the FYC list.

On that note, Mirren presented director Gavin Hood with the Sidney Lumet Award from Human Rights First at an event last week. Hood and Eye In The Sky was awarded for its powerful portrayal of the ethical dilemmas posed by drone warfare, including how political and military leaders assess “collateral damage”—a term for which the film provides much-needed humanity.
