This week, we’re warming up for our annual Best of TV list. But you’re not going to see the shows we’re talking about today on next week’s podcast. We are talking about what TV shows we quit in 2018. These could be long-running series that we’ve finally abandoned. Or these could be limited series we started and just never finished. Were these bad television shows? Definitely not. They’re just not shows that kept our interest with the highly competitive television market. Are we missing out? Feel free to weigh in on the comments!
But first, we’re taking a look at the 2019 Screen Actors Guild awards in both television and film. What series did the SAG voting body push forward into the new Emmy season? What were the notable omissions? On the film front, which films benefited from the actors weighing in?
We close our podcast, as always, with the Flash Forward to the media we’re most anticipating in the upcoming week.
A slight scheduling change for the podcasts leading up to the end of the year. Monday, December 24, will feature Megan’s Volume 6 entry in the Our Favorite Movies series, Silver Linings Playbook. Then, before the end of the year, we will drop our final podcast of 2018 with our Best Television Shows of 2018 lists.
