During the opening weekend of Cannes they took it a step further and honored officially selected filmmakers and actors at their annual party at the Cannes Whitehouse overlooking the beautiful bay. Little did they know one of their honorees the casting director of ALL WE IMAGINE AS LIGHT would go on to win the Grand Prix at Cannes.
Just some of the official Cannes 2024 talent who were honored on the night included actress Katla Njálsdóttir from Icelandic director Rúnar Rúnarsson’s WHEN THE LIGHT BREAKS, Romil Modi the casting director of Payal Kapadia’s ALL WE IMAGINE IS LIGHT, Gi Gonzales producer of RADIKALS and Daria Zueva from Krill Serenbrennikov’s LIMINOV, THE BALLAD OF EDDIE. All were gifted AIX Provence Rose.,
